Peer Support Volunteer Doncaster

Family Peer Partnership is a project supporting parents with children aged 0 to 5 in Doncaster.

Volunteer for us

As a peer support volunteer, you’ll be part of a small team making a big difference to the lives of families with young children. You’ll be a friendly face and a listening ear. You’ll help them get out of the house, get to appointments and help raise their confidence and self-esteem.

If you can spare 4 hours a week, you could help a family thrive.

We’ll provide full training designed by family practitioners including:

  • The role of a family support volunteer
  • Values, attitudes and inclusivity
  • Confidentiality
  • Listening and communication
  • Goal setting and strengths building
  • Meeting the needs of families and children
  • Safeguarding
  • Ongoing support and supervision
