Carers Support

Being a carer can be challenging and isolating, with feelings of guilt and an overwhelming sense of responsibility. You don’t have to face it alone. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

Coram Family Lives is working in partnership with Talkback offering a service within the community of Milton Keynes. We offer support to all carers who support an individual who has learning difficulties, or is neurodiverse.

Our one to one support is offered through six sessions, either in your home or somewhere you feel more comfortable. Our support is a safe place for you to share how you are feeling in confidence and without judgement. We will help you to face challenges together and navigate your next steps. We will also guide you with signposting to further help and be a listening ear for you when you most need it.

Group support

It is good to have a supportive network of people around you. It can make you feel empowered to listen to other people going through similar situations and offer support. This is why we offer support groups to bring people together and put an end to the isolation that having a neurodiverse child brings. We have 3 groups at the Church of Christ The Cornerstone in Milton Keynes.
